Silicon Valley based Unicon Systems, Inc. is developing an interesting portable media player with Wi-Fi dubbed MBridge.

The Wi-Fi (only 802.11b) enabled MBridge runs on Linux and features a 3.5 inch color screen. It has 2 USB ports, 1 high speed USB mini OTG, internal SD card slot and iR port.
Unicon says the MBridge can access any music store to purchase and download music as well as working with online photo services. The MBridge runs software applications like MP3 player, web browser and Instant messaging clients.
Unicon says, “So your cell phone can check your email, and your PSP can browse the web. But what about buying music? Or chatting? AIM and MSN messengers together?
But, a cell phone can’t work with several messengers simultaneously, especially, and a PSP can’t buy music. So you’re limited to the home computer, or, its time to buy a laptop.
But not anymore: the MBridge&trade is the key to a complete computer free life. It can be used as a data transfer device, copying, swapping, browsing and editing the files on your digital camera, MP3 player, PSP, or iPod, at any location, at any moment, in under a minute. ”
The MBridge is the next way to stay connected says the company.
