I have been using a Garmin Geko GPS for a few years to geocache. Lately it has been pretty wonky – and I can’t blame it on where we are because it does it everywhere. It seems the arrow can’t make a decision!

It also shuts itself off on occasion, but that has been happening for a long time.

Time to replace?

Sounds like the case weather seal has been compromised and moisture had gotten inside.
Time to get a new gps.

I don’t quite have the answer for you, but one thing I noticed is the number 2600 minutes for his calling plan.

2600 minutes / 60 = 43 hours, 20 minutes. Nice that it matches the N 43 that you are looking for.

I assume you need something similar for the 24 hours or year 2010.

I like to go hunting, fishing, fourwheelering with friend. Sometimes we go to the stores get food and then go hang outsomewhere and eat and enjoy the wilderness.

Yes you do, or you could just wander around randomly until you find an old ammo box full of worthless trinkets :p.

If you’re serious, try to get a used one off ebay or craigslist, it doesnt need to be top of the line to get the job done.
