Make Money on your Blog

To make money on your blog requires good posts, decent design, a lot of traffic and hopefully a nice community being built.  It also requires the right posts.  What I mean about this is, that the posts must be written about what is interesting people.  Without this, the community will never happen, traffic will not come, and as such money will not roll your direction.

I do think it is important to know what is being searched for though and than this may be the direction you should take your blog.  For instance if the iPod Nano or the Motorola Razr or SLVR are being searched for and you have a technology site or cell phone site maybe you should write some good articles about the RAZR or iPod nano.

    Yes, I find targetting is key to making money with my blog. I do hate to write articles that do not pertain to my site, but I can take it one way or another.  The more visitors to the site, the better it is.
