HP Pavilion Media Center m7590n
The affordable HP Pavilion Media Center m7590n is a great computer for the price. I recently purchased this PC and am overall pleased with the performance so far.
This is the first PC I have had with TV capabilities and am pleasantly surprised with the performance. I have yet to try the Lightscribe DVD but will do that soon.

The world’s No. 3 computer company, Lenovo, is breaking out of its home base in China in an attempt to become a globally recognized brand. Lenovo, which bought IBM’s ailing PC business last year, is introducing its first Lenovo-branded machines in the U.S. The company plans to sell budget PCs — desktops from $350 and laptops from $599 — in a bid to gain ground on its bigger rivals, No. 1 Dell and No. 2 Hewlett-Packard. “It’s an incredibly powerful move for a Chinese company to do,” said Rob Enderle of The Enderle Group.
Lenovo hopes to use their Olympic advertising to take them to the worldwide level.Â

Bill Gates and Microsoft is proposing an inexpensive technology to bring computing to the developing world – turning a cell phone into a computer by connecting it to a TV and a keyboard.
The company’s chairman Bill Gates demonstrated a mockup of the proposed cellular PC at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in early January. Isn’t it great being the richest guy in the world and run a tech company. All the gadgets are yours.
He also said that the technology is cheaper than what is out there now.
“Everyone is going to have a cell phone,†said Microsoft’s vice president Craig J. Mundie.
In locales where television sets are already common, “turning a phone into a computer could simply require adding a cheap adaptor and keyboard,†the New York Times reports.
Mundie said there is no timetable for marketing the cell phone technology, and Microsoft has not said how much the devices would cost.
