Question by Brandon G : Why did you turn off your electronics when landing in an airplane? Why do you turn off electronics and even your cell phone, why taking off and landing in an airplane? I know that they interfere with communication, but isn’t every electronic FCC regulates ro any interference received sent his way? Best answer: response from tells me
absolute safety (many people at risk) was tested by a TV show and no interference with modern electronics, but better safe than sorry (and the FCC regulates radio frequencies and power – but this applies only if the device and its screen is working properly – plus they can not test it just look at the design specifications)

How can I cool a cabinet filled with electronics?

Question by Raymond M: How can I cool a cabinet filled with electronics?
I like having my electronics that are attached to my TV hidden away in a cabinet. I have a receiver, HD PVR, and Playstation 3. The cabinet has a bit of ventilation, but it really warm and would like to add addition ventilation and cooling. I have been searching around, but haven’t been able to find any consumer level solutions. Are there liquid cooling solutions so that the cabinets remain quiet? Does anyone know of any other solutions?

Blow dryers and other electronics like computer towers have small fans that are for cooling electronics without blowing moist air like a refrigerated fan would, and you only need 12 Volts DC adapter to run them and they are very quiet.
Plus you can save money if you rip them off any computer tower you don’t use or an old blower you don’t use, or maybe you can go walk around the block or neighborhood to find them in a dumpster or asking your neighbor for her non usable electronics that contain cooling fans in them. If you don’t like my idea,Try the link i’ve provided and if its not there I will send you another 1.

Question by ??????????: What is the cheapest gps unit that i can use for geocaching?
i dont want to spend over $ 100 on a gps unit and i’ve seen some at wal-mart within my price range will those work for geocaching?

I’m sure you can find a decent used one on Ebay or a refurbished item on Overstock.com.

YOu only need a really basic GPS for GeoCaching.

All the bells and whistles are nice to have but certainly not necessary.
