Samsung SPH-A900 Cell Phone Review
I like the new Samsung SPH-A900, which competes with the Motorola Razr, mimicking its slick, ultra-slim design and big LCD.
Since the SPH-A900 is a somewhat new model, it has more powerful features than the Razr, including a 1.3-megapixel camera and support for a user-friendly music service. Samsung’s SPH-A900 works with the Sprint Music Store, which lets you buy and download songs over the air—and later transfer the downloaded tunes to a computer. Many music phones only let you acquire music from a PC, using a USB cable. The SPH-A900 comes with a 2.5-millimeter headset for listening to your tracks in stereo sound quality. Plus, you can use the handset as a modem: Connect it to a computer either wirelessly via Bluetooth or through the included USB cable. Pretty nice phone. Check it out if in the market for a new Cell phone.

Samsung P207 Cell Phone Review
Cingular sells a couple of handsets that are impressing, starting with the Samsung P207. This compact clamshell phone responds to voice commands … such as “Dial a number”… and accepts speech-to-text dictation for SMS text messages, so you don’t have to punch keys. Other phones now offer this feature, but the P207 was the first.
Without getting too breathless, Samsung is onto something with this feature. Not only does the P207 represent a significant evolution for voice recognition—making text messaging far easier—it’s also easy to envision how this software will soon make sending emails and multi-step commands via mobile phones far more viable. Expect to see this feature in many upcoming Samsung devices.
Here is a great review.

Motorola Unveils Stylish SLVR L7 New Cell Phone
Motorola Inc. has recently unveiled their latest next generation handset, the SLVR L7. With a slim and attractive design, this phone is meant to build on the success of similar devices like the RAZR and PEBL.
With a quality metallic finish, chrome placed side keys, and aluminium battery door, the SLVR will likely appeal to the growing market of design-conscious mobile phone users.
Hong Kong Motorola executive, Cedric So was quoted as saying that “the Motorola SLVR L7 is designed to emotionally and rationally engage with consumers. The new handset has character and a defined personality that speaks a very human and intuitive language through sight, sound and touch.â€

Fido’s First Cell Phone
Lost dog? As of next March, pet owners will be able to drop the photocopier and staple gun and pick up the phone instead. That’s when PetCell, the first cell phone for dogs, is due to hit pet-store shelves.
Hung off Fido’s collar, the PetCell is a bone-shaped cell phone that will let dog owners talk to their best friend over a two-way speaker.
Developed by PetsMobility, the PetCell works with standard cellular networks and has its own number. It automatically answers when the owner punches in a code on their telephone keypad that means, “Lassie, come home!”
The PetCell will ship in early 2006 and will sell for $350 to $400, the company said.
